We are Wylie’s, and, well, we make number plates. And we’ve been making number plates for over 75 years, serving the motor trade and car enthusiasts alike with the best quality products we can make and best service we can deliver.

But, what about us?  Well, we’re a family raised in motoring, motorsport and the motor trade.  The people and the business have a passion for cars and we hope that as time passes we’ll be able to share some of that passion with you – whether it’s a unique classic or an everyday supercar, an historic rally car or Formula One.  And while they might not all have a number plate, they inspire us nonetheless – but more of that in our news section in due course.

Mike Wylie, our original Autonumerologist, laid the foundation for our enduring commitment to quality and craftsmanship. His vision continues to inspire us as we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of automotive technology and culture.

What’s in a number plate you may ask?  Well, they are very different now to when the family business began three generations ago in 1946.  As pioneers in the industry, we have been at the forefront of number plate manufacturing since our inception.
