Most modern cars will use a standard size plate. If you have a short registration number, you may choose a shorter plate – this is entirely down to personal preference. If choosing a shorter plate, do check to make sure there are no existing screw holes that may be exposed.

Most modern cars use a standard size rear plate. Some larger cars, such as a Range Rover or BMW X5, can accept a deeper rear plate. Please measure your car to make sure your plate choice will fit.

Autonumerology was defined by Noel Woodall as the study of registration numbers and number plates.
While Wylie’s was founded by Bob Wylie in 1946, it was his son Mike who became ‘The Autonumerologist’ when he took over the business – he was instantly recognisable out on the roads by his own registration number ‘AXC 1’, originally released on a very unique 1934 Siddeley Special Six registered in Solihull.
Yes, we are proud of our production process and quality number plates. We provide a 3-year warranty on all number plates from the date of delivery. To make a claim, please contact info@wylienumberplates.co.uk with proof of purchase and photos of the issue. Replacements will be like-for-like; no cash alternative will be provided.
