2. Contact Details

You can contact us during office hours (9.30am – 5pm, Monday–Friday) by calling 028 9032 7885, or anytime by emailing info@wylienumberplates.co.uk. We aim to respond to emails within 24 hours (Monday–Friday). Emails received outside working hours or on weekends will be read on the next working day.

If contacting us by post, please allow 3–5 working days for a reply. If you request a postal response, please allow up to 5 additional working days for delivery.

3. Use of Our Products

All number plates sold via our website are legal and conform to BS au145e, however it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle is road legal at all times and the customer assumes all liability if our number plates are used on UK highways.

4. Ordering and Product Details

All number plates are made to order and are therefore non-refundable and non-cancellable once production begins. Production usually begins shortly after purchase.

Products are produced according to the design and details you provide via the Plate Builder tool. You are responsible for ensuring all details are accurate before placing your order.

Images on the website are for illustrative purposes only. Colours, proportions and finishes may vary slightly in physical products.

Orders undergo a quality inspection before dispatch. In the rare event a plate fails inspection, it will be remade prior to shipping.

5. Amendments and Cancellations

5.1  Amendments

Requests to amend an order must be made as soon as possible after the order is placed. We will make every effort to apply amendments if production has not yet begun, but this cannot be guaranteed. Amendments requested after production has started may not be possible and additional charges may apply.

We reserve the right to adjust character spacing or substitute equivalent materials where necessary to complete your order.

5.2  Cancellation Timing

Customers wishing to cancel an order must contact us as soon as possible after purchase. We will only be able to cancel an order if production has not yet started. Once the order has entered production or the shipment stage, cancellations are no longer possible and customers remain liable for full payment.

5.3  Refunds

Refunds for approved cancellations will be processed on the same day the cancellation is confirmed. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used at checkout. Banking or payment provider processing times may delay the funds returning to your account.

5.4 Bespoke Product Exemption

As all number plates are bespoke, they are exempt from the statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

5.5 Special Circumstances

In cases of legal restrictions, technical issues or other events that prevent us from completing your order, Wylie Number Plates Ltd reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

5.7 Policy Updates

Wylie Number Plates Ltd may update this Amendments & Cancellations Policy at any time. The version applicable to your order is the version in force at the time of purchase.

6. Delivery

Orders received before 2pm (Mon–Fri) with valid documentation are processed the same day. Delivery options include:

• Standard (non-tracked): £6.99
• Next Day Delivery (orders placed by 2pm Mon-Thurs): £9.99

Saturday delivery is not guaranteed. We are not liable for courier delays beyond our control or incorrectly entered delivery details. If a delivery attempt fails twice, the courier may return or dispose of the goods in line with their policy. While we are not responsible for courier actions, we will assist you where possible to arrange redelivery.

Damaged goods must be reported by email within 24 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence.

7. Returns and Refunds

7.1 Returns

As all number plates are bespoke, we do not accept returns for these products.

Accessories (e.g., surrounds, fixings) may be returned at the buyer’s cost within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. We do not cover return postage unless the error was ours.

7.2 Refunds

Refunds are not available for bespoke plates except where required by law or where a cancellation is accepted under Section 5.

8. Defective Items

All products undergo quality control before dispatch. If you believe an item is defective, you must report it within 24 hours of delivery by emailing info@wylienumberplates.co.uk with photographs and proof of purchase.

Claims will be reviewed by our production team. Their decision will be final unless otherwise required by law.

9. Pricing and Payment

Prices are listed on our website and may change at any time. We accept all major debit/credit cards, ApplePay, Google Pay and PayPal.

In the event of a pricing or system error, we reserve the right to cancel and refund your order before production begins.

10. Privacy and Data Handling

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy & Cookies Policy, available on our website. By using our website, you agree to the practices described therein.

We share personal data only with trusted third parties (e.g. couriers and payment providers) necessary to fulfil your order.

11. Legal Compliance and Number Plate Legislation

It is your responsibility to ensure that any number plate purchased from us is used lawfully.
Misuse—such as displaying a misrepresented registration—may result in fines, MOT failure or registration withdrawal.

12. Warranty

We provide a 3-year warranty on all number plates from the date of delivery. The warranty covers all manufacturing defects, including any faults in materials or production such as delamination or letters detaching from the plate.

It does not cover damage during fitting, general wear and tear or damage caused by misuse.

To make a claim, please contact info@wylienumberplates.co.uk with proof of purchase and photos of the issue. Replacements will be like-for-like; no cash alternative will be provided.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos and trademarks are the property of Wylie Number Plates Ltd or its licensors. Unauthorised copying, reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.

15. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website, including by attempting unauthorised access, introducing malicious code or interfering with website functionality. We reserve the right to suspend or block access for any user who breaches these terms.
